"'Invasive Species' is EROSION’s long awaited follow up to 2018’s “Maximum Suffering” (HYDRA HEAD RECORDS) It was recorded by Jesse Gander (ANCIIENTS, BISON BC, CEREMONIAL BLOODBATH) and mastered by Arthur Rizk (PISSGRAVE, BLOOD INCANTATION).
This record is suffocatingly dark, metallic crusty d-beat HC that steers far from the crust-punk cliches. It recalls early Martyrdöd in that these twelve songs smash your speakers with bottom-end-heavy, impenetrable riffs and a searing vocal rage, pushing a non-stop driving attack. Lyrically, the band offers a blistering observation of humanity’s impact on the natural world and the mindless brutality of said species upon fellow humans."
