Following up with his release with Quit Life on Year0001, Bloodz Boi collaborates with Claire Rousay and More Eaze on a new record - A Crying Poem. Bloodz Boi convey’s a dream, an unforgettable love, and a rebirth giving a glimmer of hope. All lyrics are based on poems by Bloodz Boi. “Words have no power,” so he wanted to sing the poems to pay homage to fragments of his memory. Orchestration and production is in collaboration with Claire Rousay and More Eaze. This album conveys a blunt sadness coalescing with new forms of romanticism. With a reverential nod toward Manuel Göttsching’s 1975 psychedelic minimalist opus Inventions for Electric Guitar, each sound on this recording originated on a guitar—whether standard 6-string electric or acoustic, baritone, electric 12-string, or lap-steel—played by guitarist Nick Millevoi. Those sounds were then shaped and reassembled by Zach Goldstein, who sculpted each of the record’s six compositions to challenge the way we hear the guitar.
