The fusing of these elements imbues a sense of vulnerability, introspection and hopefulness throughout the entirety of the record, inspiring a calmness and beauty that emerges from amongst the ceaseless din of the world around us.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eHayes approached fellow musician and spoken word artist Charlie Perry at the beginning of 2020, to collaborate on some recordings originally written while on tour in Europe. Hayes, caught in Europe mid-tour, based himself in the south of France, while Perry retreated to Australia’s southern coastline in the small beachside town of Fairhaven. Tuttle jokes, “Given the size of the ambient banjo music scene, we’d been fans of each other’s music for a while. Despite working from different corners of the world, the collaboration was so intertwined that it became murky of who did what on the record. The fusing of sonics truly exemplifies the total trust and depth of their collaborative process.\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e“It’s made via such distance, but that’s not a big deal.. we’ve all come to terms with distance. The approach of the record is really just the sign of the times.
