"『paper thin walls』は、共同住宅や集合住宅、とりわけイングランド、特にロンドンで生活する際に体験する、音との近接性へのオマージュだ。

動き、コミュニティ、文化、そして音による抵抗を強調する。土地を観察し、境界や所有権に疑問を投げかける。「paper thin walls」は、音に国境がないことを示す一例だ。

首都で耳にする音の多様性を称え、それが音楽シーンやサブカルチャーに与えてきた影響、そして『アンクル』のスピーカーのすぐそばで暮らすベッドルーム・プロデューサーたちに与えられた可能性を讃えるものだ。

これは、共同住宅の外壁を覆う機能不全のクラッディングに湿気がゆっくりと浸透していくように、私たちの社会を蝕むファシスト的な腐敗への拒絶だ。それは、こうした集合住宅が私たちに提供する不十分な仕切り越しに聞こえてくる、会話の断片、ラジオ放送、スピーカーボックスからの囁きに深く耳を傾ける行為である。

都心部の団地が持つ音響的構造――その空間で育つ者が触れることになる、多種多様な文化を育む場所だ。"

"'paper thin walls' is a homage to the proximity to sound experienced while living in communal buildings and housing blocks, particularly in England, especially in London.

Amplifying movement, community, culture, and sonic resistance. Observing the land, questioning thresholds and ownership; 'paper thin walls' is an example of sound knowing no boarders.

A celebration of the sonic diversity heard in capital cities, the influence that that has had on their music scenes and sub-cultures, afforded to the bedroom producers living in such close quarters to 'uncles' speakers.

It is a rejection of the fascist gangrene that plagues our society like the damp slowly penetrating the malfunctioning cladding that covers the external walls of our communal dwellings. It is deep listening to fragments of conversation, radio broadcast, and speaker boxes murmurings through the inadequate partitions that these blocks offer us.

The sonic architecture of an inner city estate, incubating the multitude of cultures one is exposed to when growing in these spaces."
