He gave me a link to one of his favorite youtube playlists. There were lots of amazing A capella moments throughout these tracks and as an experiment, I began abstracting them beyond recognition. Eventually, I started constructing more cohesive pieces around them, blending in software, extreme digital timbres and non-musical sounds.
