There was a certain atmosphere to the initial tracks I’d made; the mood felt quite clear, first in a wisp-like way, but present nevertheless. There's a sort of urban British grey to the album - and the sense of melancholy that comes with that - with influences from bass music, post-punk, shoegaze, drone, ambient and even folk music.
