"Regular to our imprint, via some projects and compilations, we’re proud to welcome for another round Pura Pura.
Known for many very good reasons within the club scene for more than a decade, the french DJ and producer has been developping his very own unique sound. With his own take on blending rap and electronic music, but also with experimenting around sounds as dubstep, juke, UKG or techno - just to name a few - Pura Pura has made for himself a very good spot on the club scene worldwide.


With his first solo release on Plaisance, all dedicated to Chicago’s footwork sound, we’re proud to welcome a more introspective and personal side of Pura Pura, far - but never too far - from the dancefloor, with a project that he’s been cooking for many years, between 2016 and 2024.


With 11 tracks, « SP660 » is a vibrant hommage to footwork, a genre that he’s been listening and worshiping for more than a decade, through its pionner, but also its new heroes. With his own take on the Chicago’s sound, Pura Pura has produced a tape that is as much made for the dancers or the listeners. Through the art of sampling and chopping records, OST and other piece of sounds, « SP606 » is bringing lightly jazz, RNB, rap or ambient to footwork."
