The bumper sticker, the fortune cookie, the country song whose easy wisdom and symmetrical wordplay contains within it the mismatched charm of my totally blessed American life—that’s what I heard in Sam.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eIt’s a weird time for words.
