"'Kuuhaku' in Japanese means blank space or vacuum. It’s here, within an endless expanse, that Morimoto Naoki breathes life into an ambient toytronica dream. Gently unfolding over 44 minutes, calming tones slowly evolve into deeper emotional territory with measured intent, choosing warmth and optimism over chaos and unpredictability. Colorful toy xylophones, small brass bells, and heartfelt guitar spark sentimental joy, and rhythmic ambience adds weight and texture. In Morimoto’s compositions, one has the space to let their mind run wild. Or to stay perfectly still.

Hailing from Japan, Morimoto Naoki is an ambient composer who creates gentle music inspired by quiet lives and calm landscapes."
