From the label:
"'Overflowed shelters' is one of the many possible reactions to the sadness and anger that reality awakened in us in 2024. We still remain in that state, witnessing something we never believed we would see. Yet it confronts us daily, slowly infiltrating our being. This urge to react arises from within and asserts itself as a necessity. We composed and performed our sounds. Now they will be released and will travel, metaphorically, to reach others in the form of a desiring gesture — that singular kind that unsettles and moves us, for it carries a vision of beauty that only art can reveal. We call it “unanesthesia.”*
*The term is derived from the Greek word anaesthesia, which originally referred to a denial of beauty. In the 19th century, it took on a new meaning that is still in use today: the denial of pain. It is grounded, then, in the idea that by uncovering beauty one also uncovers pain, thereby provoking a confrontation with reality."
