I wondered.

Listening to the body,
in language, wind, soil, fields, water, rice, yeast, wine, electronic circuits.
Shaping the form,
grow forth hair, head, forehead, eyebrows, eyes, nose, ears, mouth, feet.

Body, come alive.

The two tracks on this album were first composed in October 2024 during my artist residency at Soulangh Cultural Park in Tainan, Taiwan. All recordings span from 2022 to 2024, drawn from my fieldwork: From Water, Soil to Tongue.
I extend my gratitude to the farmers and LOM+you for enhancing my ability to listen to the land. I also thank the linguists and indigenous communities who have made significant efforts to revitalize and maintain the wisdom of their culture."
