"We're delighted to release the new album "Harry — A Life Of Misery" by our friend sounds of fading on cassette. This is the first release since four years following "War is (over)" from 2022 and "The Garden" from 2021.

sounds of fading is a blackened dark ambient project from Hamburg (GER). Consisting of K., who is also part of the drone duo Tremor Hex, the project merges synthesized waveforms with noise, harsh vocals, and sound effects. The result is a deeply immersive listening experience, somewhere between subterranean ambience and the spectral remains of black metal, unfolding into fragments of a dying world and dissolving into silence.

"Harry — A Life Of Misery tells a story of hatred, suffering, and despair — a downfall into guilt, hopelessness, and punishment. Narrated by pounding synths, samples, and dying drones.“ —sounds of fading"

Some weeks ago, during a trip, they played this “A Mistake by Mistakes” cassette tape compilation, out on that enigmatic Berlin, Neukölln based label Kashual Plastik. Sick folk-not-folk-modern-folk-for-theee-folks music. Edgy. Instantly attractive. Making moments, that briefly make you overcome the atrocities of our time. Emo sharing style. Dreaming fab. Drifting in make-believe. Walking down alleys of mind. It features contemporary psychedelia, folk in acoustic beauty, flickering tape effects, Roger Corman-ish score suspense, loop magic, minimal wave, gamelan tribalism, lo-fi-indie, trip hop, field recordings, Woodsist voodoo, piano crescendos, instrumental guitar visions. Sliding, Gliding. Lots of individuals humming, spoken wording, singing. Melodies in constant change. Melodies for the strange. Twenty-two hallucinations, created by citizens like TRJJ, Beau Wanzer, Wormhook, Orion Music Workshop, Esse Pi Enne, Gil Shani, Drop Zone, Gajek or Who Cares?. Some weeks ago, during a trip, they played this “A Mistake by Mistakes” cassette tape compilation, out on that enigmatic Berlin, Neukölln based label Kashual Plastik. Sick folk-not-folk-modern-folk-for-theee-folks music. Edgy. Instantly attractive. Making moments, that briefly make you overcome the atrocities of our time. Emo sharing style. Dreaming fab. Drifting in make-believe. Walking down alleys of mind. It features contemporary psychedelia, folk in acoustic beauty, flickering tape effects, Roger Corman-ish score suspense, loop magic, minimal wave, gamelan tribalism, lo-fi-indie, trip hop, field recordings, Woodsist voodoo, piano crescendos, instrumental guitar visions. Sliding, Gliding. Lots of individuals humming, spoken wording, singing. Melodies in constant change. Melodies for the strange. Twenty-two hallucinations, created by citizens like TRJJ, Beau Wanzer, Wormhook, Orion Music Workshop, Esse Pi Enne, Gil Shani, Drop Zone, Gajek or Who Cares?. Their music got me down\u003cspan class=\"bcTruncateMore\"\u003e on my knees and I couldn’t focus on anything. Later that day I rented a hotel room somewhere. I live here since a while. I wear a watch now, out of habit not because I need it. By mistake, some oddly mistakes, gave me plenty of time. I don’t know, what you might feel about this. I make this trip a lot. It gives me some kind of care.
