From the label:

"For our 30th anniversary, we reissue three absolute minimal techno statements by Robert Hood and his alias Monobox. These tracks define the birth of minimal techno — reduced to rhythm, pressure and repetition. No ornament. No compromise. Just structure, tension and movement. Originally released on Logistic Records, they remain as powerful and modern today as they were in the early 90s. Functional. Spiritual. Underground. This Reissue is not nostalgia. It is a reminder of what techno truly is. A key figure of the Detroit scene and co-founder of Underground Resistance, Robert Hood reshaped techno in the early 1990s by stripping it down to its purest elements. His vision rejected excess and focused on rhythm, repetition and tension — establishing a new spiritual and architectural form of techno."
