Over the past decade, Yoshizawa has developed a singular sonic language under the name Koeosaeme, moving between electronic composition, musique concrète, sound collage and sound art.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFollowing a series of acclaimed releases on Orange Milk Records, Yoshizawa now turns his attention to a place close to home: Kaihin-Makuhari, a coastal district on the outskirts of Tokyo, built on land that was once part of the sea. Conceived as a city of the future, it is a planned landscape of elevated walkways, convention centres, commercial complexes, residential neighbourhoods and waterfront spaces.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eKoeosaeme developed Makuhari through walking and listening. Moving through the district at different times of day, he collected fragments of its sonic environment. These recordings were combined with additional sound materials, custom-built audio systems and synthesizers, forming a synthetic impression of the planned\u003cspan class=\"bcTruncateMore\"\u003e city.
