"Biocym lands on space•lab with Fates EP, a five-track voyage crafted in Milan. The release leans into Biocym’s deep, atmospheric palette, threaded with hypnotic details and a sense of slow-burning tension.

Omen opens the sequence with a rolling, subterranean pulse—shifting silhouettes and low-lit momentum building into a driving techno workout. Fates, the title track, drifts upward into luminous atmospheric territory, its rhythm wrapped in vaporous pads and Biocym’s signature hallucinatory detailing.

Aeriform, a collaboration with SHFT, moves into harder terrain—a driving cut designed to rattle both room and ribcage. Enigma closes the vinyl EP by bending the tempo grid, delivering wigged-out half-time pressure. On the digital release, Chimera comes as an added bonus, with galloping drums and beautiful, haunting, ethereal synth work.

Taken together, Fates EP offers a compelling continuation to Biocym’s sonic universe: deep, detailed, and designed to pull the listener into its orbit without ever overstating its presence."

Breaking the ice, the title-track plunges us in an effervescing pool of menacing reverbs, bloopy signals and rippling synth tides on a murky tip, while its faster and sharper twin ‘At The Bottom Of The Sea’ vigorously ups the ante to ensure optimal peak time firepower. Following on from an array of 12-inches on her own imprint, including a recent joint effort with Anthony Linell, ‘If Not Now When?’ is an ode to the all-enveloping strangeness of eternal nights that cuts a path of ecstatic light in the dark. Breaking the ice, the title-track plunges us in an effervescing pool of menacing reverbs, bloopy signals and rippling synth tides on a murky tip, while its faster and sharper twin ‘At The Bottom Of The Sea’ vigorously ups the ante to ensure optimal peak time firepower.
