"時は流れ、1ヶ月、2ヶ月と過ぎ、ニュースのサイクルは人々の頭から特定の災害を追いやる。しかし、2025年のロサンゼルスの山火事によって多くの人々が家を失い、いまだに住居を探したり、被害を受けたものと受けなかったものを整理したりしている。想定内、想定外、様々な意味で非常に骨の折れる、トラウマになりそうなプロセスである。

このコンピレーションは、LAの山火事で被害を受けたアーティストや個人への直接的な支援に使われる。PreferenceとThe Villageは、現在、火災のために苦難を経験している多くの人々と親しい。

このコンピレーションには、信じられないほど寛大で才能あるアーティストたちによる、新しいオリジナル音源、近日発売予定の音源、未発表のアーカイブ音源、未発表のオルタネート音源が収録されている。このコンピレーションは、私たちが経済的な援助を提供するためのものであるだけでなく、聴く人々に慰めや安らぎ、楽しみを与えることを願う音楽的な提供物でもある。"

Preference Records:

"Time passes, a month or two goes by, and the news cycle can push one specific disaster out of people’s minds. But many have been displaced by the 2025 LA wildfires, still trying to figure out housing, sorting through what and wasn’t damaged. It’s a very arduous and traumatizing process in many ways expected and unexpected, all the while people have to figure out how to stay afloat.

All funds raised through the sale of this compilation will go to artists and individuals affected by the LA wildfires as direct aid. Preference and The Village are close to many who are currently experiencing hardships due to the fires.

This compilation features new original, forthcoming, unreleased archival and unreleased alternate recordings from incredibly generous and talented artists. It is not only a way for us to provide financial help, but is a musical offering that hopefully also provides solace, peace, enjoyment to those who might hear it."
