"'Despojos do Sol-posto' refers, together with No Crepúsculo Flamejante, to the Celtiberian ritual of throwing a living coal to water at dusk, mimicking the death of the day, the Sun’s journey through the underworld. This is a fit name for the performance that we gave at Fábrica do Som, a rather crepuscular and ritual offering, with some ambient overtones.

'Despojos do Sol-Posto' is a live recording of the 2013 concert of Wolfskin at Fábrica do Som, Porto, where a rather more experimental and ambient approach prevailed over the usual epic and percussive elements. While the focus was given on compositions mostly taken from “Campos de Matança” album, the use of elements such as guitar and vocal drones, stones, leaves, water, horns, bells or synths, expanded the music of Wolfskin towards other territories."
