"Yotzeret Sheydim, the noise moniker of Desdemona Ill, has been releasing and performing a truly unique brand of noise music nonstop since 2021. The project focuses on themes of Judaism, demonology, magic and queerness. Ill uses synthesizers and microphones to perform her audible ritual magic, often creating a noise nigun in order to enter devekut. Sometimes summoning sheydim, sometimes just praying to HaShem.

Yotzeret Sheydim translates to "she creates demons" and refers to how small demons can be created with audio and bound with metals. This latest album is based on a book of Kabbalah known as Sefer HaBahir (The Book Of Illumination). The album is a spiritual piece about teaching yourself to understand and to see, to illuminate the world around you. Light and love and worship all coalesce into something bizarre and brilliant in its terrible majesty.

This album is a long-form work designed for meditative listening. May it inspire and illuminate."
