GiGi FMキュレーションによる4曲を収録。180g重量盤です。

『The Third Room』のキュレーター主導シリーズの最終章は、クラブとしての機能性、情感あふれるストーリーテリング、没入型のサウンドデザインの間を自在に行き来するアーティスト、GiGi FMによって形作られている。彼女は自身の作品制作やパフォーマンスを通じて、リズム、雰囲気、動きが絶えず対話する独自の表現手法を確立してきた。

この最終章では、一体感に焦点が当てられている。グルーヴ、ディテール、空間に対する共通の感性で結ばれたアーティストたちを集結させた本作は、明快さ、深み、そして意図を持って動き出すパーカッシブな構造と雰囲気のある要素を通じて展開される。

Fergus Sweetlandによる『The Half Bearded Man』がアルバムの幕を開ける。荒削りでありながら緻密なリズムの骨格、シンコペーションの効いたパーカッション、そしてうねるようなベースラインが前進感を醸し出す一方で、柔らかな要素と繊細なボーカルレイヤーが対照的な軽やかさを持ち込み、リスナーを楽曲の世界へと引き込む。

『Shark Attak』では、D-Leriaがパーカッションを中心に据えつつも、より抑制の効いたアプローチをとっている。ポリリズム的なビープ音と高周波のスイープがグルーヴを織り成し、押し付けがましさなく深みと緊張感を保ちつつ、このトラックに静かでありながら持続的な推進力を与えている。

B面は、この作品の象徴的な瞬間の一つである『Anukari』で幕を開ける。これはEfdeminとGiGi FMによるコラボレーションだ。2つの異なるアプローチが融合し、このトラックは重層的で雰囲気のある作品として展開される。緻密なパーカッション、つながり合うテクスチャー、そして繊細なメロディの断片が、モダンでありながらどこか異世界的な深みを生み出しつつ、親しみやすく地に足のついた印象を保っている。

レコードの最後を飾るFiregroundの『Even』は、要素をさらに絞り込んでいる。温かみのあるコードと抑制の効いたリズミカルな核が、開放的で包み込むような空間を生み出し、柔らかさと緊張感のバランスを取りながら、静かな勢いを持って楽曲が展開していく。

全4曲を通じて、このリリースはグルーヴ、空間、そして慎重に配置されたディテールを基盤として、緊密な統一感を保っている。シリーズの最終作として、焦点を構造から流れへと移し、没入感があり、つながりを感じさせ、完結した印象を与える締めくくりの章を提示している。"

"The final chapter of The Third Room's curator-led series is shaped by GiGi FM, an artist whose work moves fluidly between club functionality, emotional storytelling and immersive sound design. Through her productions and performances, she has developed a distinct language where rhythm, atmosphere and movement exist in constant dialogue.

For the closing chapter, the focus lies on cohesion. Bringing together artists connected through a shared sensitivity for groove, detail and space, the release unfolds through percussive structures and atmospheric elements that move with clarity, depth and intention.

The Half Bearded Man by Fergus Sweetland opens the record. A rough yet detailed rhythmic framework, syncopated percussion and a rolling bassline create forward motion, while softer elements and a subtle vocal layer introduce a contrasting sense of lightness, drawing the listener into the track.

On Shark Attak, D-Leria places percussion at the centre, but with a more restrained approach. Polyrhythmic bleeps and high-frequency sweeps weave around the groove, maintaining depth and tension without becoming intrusive, giving the track a quiet but persistent drive.

The B-side opens with one of its defining moments: Anukari, a collaboration between Efdemin and GiGi FM. Bringing together two distinct approaches, the track unfolds as a layered and atmospheric piece: detailed percussion, connecting textures and subtle melodic fragments create a sense of depth that feels both modern and slightly otherworldly, while remaining inviting and grounded.

Closing the record, Even by Fireground reduces the elements further. Warm chords and a restrained rhythmic core create an open, enveloping space, balancing softness with tension and allowing the track to unfold with a quiet sense of momentum.

Across all four tracks, the release remains tightly cohesive: built on groove, space and carefully placed detail. As the final entry in the series, it shifts the focus from structure to flow, offering a closing chapter that feels immersive, connected and complete."
