"イジェフスクの芸術家グループが、ペルミの彫刻家キリル・クリヴォシェコフによる展覧会『困難な形式』のオープニングに招待された。「キリルは作品の中で、形と素材の関係を可視化している。石を素材として扱うことで、彼は自然の無形の身体の無力さ、偶然への諦観、そして理想に対する無知を表現している」（展覧会のプレスリリースより）。

このパフォーマンスのために、様々な岩石から素材が準備された。アーティストは石に横縞を刻み込み、それによって「無生物」の物質が本格的な楽器へと変貌を遂げた。イタリアの巨匠ピヌッチョ・シオラによる「響く石」の伝統を受け継ぎ、中心的な役割を果たすのはまさにこの石である。

「作曲と音の物語は、選ばれた対象物に完全に依存している。素材に対する様々な操作が驚くべき禁欲的な流れを生み出し、さらなる融合によって、石のような一見平凡で控えめな物体に秘められた可能性が明らかになる。"

From the label:

"An art group from Izhevsk was invited to the opening of the exhibition "Difficult Formalities" by Perm sculptor Kirill Krivoshchekov. "In his works, Kirill visualizes the relationship between form and material. Working with stone, he shows the impotence of the formless body of nature, its resignation to chance and blindness to ideals" (from a press release for the exhibition).

Especially for the performance, material was prepared from various rocks. The artist sawed horizontal stripes in the stones, which allowed "inanimate" matter to become a full-fledged musical instrument. It is she who plays a central role, continuing the tradition of "Sounding Stones" by the Italian master Pinuccio Shiola.

Composition and sound narrative entirely depend on the chosen object. Various manipulations with the material generate an amazing ascetic flow, and further mixing reveals the hidden potential of such seemingly ordinary and modest objects as a stone."
