Butterfly is a music group consisting of musician songwriters Vincent Gallo and Harper Simon.
This LP was written and performed by both Vincent Gallo and Harper Simon and recorded it in New York City during the winter of 2018 through the spring of 2019.

The recordings were produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Vincent Gallo

These recordings were originally intended to be released by the French Because Music label in 2021. However the label dropped the Butterly project because they heard in 2020 Vincent Gallo voted for the wrong US President. An intolerant British female Rhian Emanuel, who was in charge of the Butterfly release, in a sudden rage forced her weak aging Algerian boss Emmanuel de Buretel to cancel the Butterfly release. Fearing backlash, Because Music President Emmanuel de Buretel easily caved in.
Thankfully the legendary, prestigious and American Family Friend Records label had the courage to release this masterpiece.
