The form, made with presque rien technique, represents a sonic snapshot of the Church of St. Anton (Basel, Switzerland) and the neighbourhood of Kannenfeld Platz and Kannenfeld Strasse. St. Anton is a masterpiece of modernism, built between 1925 and 1927 by the Swiss architect Karl Moser. It was the first church in Switzerland that was built from reinforced concrete, in 1927, some 25 years before the term «brutalism» was coined. Glonti's background in field recordings and concrete music provided an important starting point for this work.
