This imperfect and organic human touch shines throughout the five songs on ‘Mistrace’ with each song gradually unfolding and wandering in askew fashion.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eUtilizing a shimmering Roland synthesizer, a Taishōgoto (aka Nagoya harp), toy piano, and field recordings, Soloi Sounds delicately builds sparkling melodies that weave and overlap over washes of ambient waves and intricate IDM-tinted glitches. At times these layers connect, at times they diverge, producing accidental fluctuations.
