One half of GEORGIA, J.TRIPP has been a mainstay of the US underground, gaining some acclaim with the duo and venturing out on his own with releases Hylic (2025, Sagome) and Lethe (2022, Haunter Records), which display an incongruous relationship with modern life, a yearning for melody and unrelenting love of rhythm.

TELL is culled from GEORGIA’s monthly radio show ‘All Kind Music’ (NTS Radio) launched in 2015, which features new original music by TRIPP and collaborator Brian Close each month. It documents a small snapshot of TRIPP’s contributions - made on-the-fly, in transit and in the studio over the past decade. Instead of labouring over production, the ‘first thought best thought’ approach gives licence to manipulate sound and genre without worry. Lead single ‘Sylva’ reanimates a hip-hop drum pattern with a saturated orchestral refrain and snippets of dialogue, while the album’s central pivot ‘Nowhere Dense’ serves as both tension and release, a chorus slowed to the point of near disintegration, creating a shimmering stillness.

Curated by J.TRIPP and SINK founders Grey Streak & Roscoe Fox, TELL offers insight into TRIPP’s musical mindset, honing intuition and reflex on his steady path forward."

Artist : J.TRIPP

Label : SINK

cat no : SINK016

Release date : 25th September 2026

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0305/1637/9780/files/tell1_51a0ac38-8be4-44d0-9cf2-29660e2838e4.jpg?v=1790901861
