An ambient exploration within an emotional narrative of lysergic tension that floats between organic textures, crackles and pointillist statics is what the sound artist Jimmy Pizarro (INSECTO) presents with his new moniker. -Bilac- comes in a limited edition of 200 copies on 180g transparent vinyl with a printed inner sleeve with UV gloss finish. Mastered and cut by LOOP-O.

SPRO offers a slow motion sound package, which is loaded with an analog tint of ambient exploration. His perspective is oneiric while pushing towards a febrile state and tension spread in an organic mantle. In this new facet, Pizarro sculpts his craft with spontaneous ease, setting aside rhythms and embracing instead heady abstractions. Their patterns sink into an iridescent sound palette that moves fluidly between padded textures of warm and bright chords, dynamic arpeggio scales, cutoff frequencies, fast pitch shift, echoes and reverberations entering and leaving, which merge with a musculature of deep basses. 'Bilac' unfolds an analogous sound that accentuates the detail in the pristine sources, the one that subtly mutates and twists to slide without turning back towards certainly translucent and disconcerting terrains, giving the sensation of a transit through sinuous paths of dense topographic accidents that at the same time to go through permeate in moments of infinite synapses but that from one moment to another change the lens of the prism to take us towards a focus of a certain calm and sleepy stillness.
